A very quiet week for me.....perhaps subconsciously saddened by the hundreds of thousands lives lost in the past week through natural disasters. I have had no inclination to take pics or even go walking with Mulli, opting to take him for runs in the park. It has taken every bit of the very little energy I have to get myself through each day....and night.

I did have a lovely mother's day and enjoyed a beautiful brunch on the back deck with the fam.....thanks guys xoxo

We had some lovely storms about this afternoon, bringing some much needed rain again....the dams receiving a fair drop as well
I had little motivation to get out and about to get some pics of an amaaaazing sunset with astounding colours and a huuuge rainbow right in front of home. As an after-thought I heading into Mt Cootha to see if I could get some pics of what was left of the storm, now passing out to the bay and north. This was the first time I have attempted some night photography of the city lights as well as lightning. My camera is delayed when taking night shots so it's a bit of press the button and hope for the best. I managed to get two shots capturing the lightning, however one was fairly blurred.
Never mind......the fact that I actually got off my butt and could be bothered was a BIG thing for me.

I am still working nights and still undecided..surprise surprise!!

Anyways...my heartfelt warmest blessings go out to the families in Burma and China at this time of sorrow..........
