.......

Wowowow.....I can't believe we are in October...where did the year go? It has been ages since I last updated the Journal and even come to visit Deviant Art....hmmm but that seems to be how it is for me. I am looking forward to seeing what everyone has contributed recently!

Mulli's progress has been very slow....but he is certainly on the mend (smiles all round). He is finally getting playful again and doesn't seem in as much discomfort. I will get into some pics of the puppies again over the week-end and update their mugshots

I have been fairly quiet on the piccy scene, we've had a few family gatherings and had the camera out for those, but I haven't had a great inclination to get out in nature except for my recent trip to the Gold Coast with my sister. We had a great time and was fortunate enough to spot a Whale pod heading back south. There were splashes everywhere out to sea and for most we could not see the whales, only their spray and splashes from breaching. At one point we were lucky to spot a mum and baby close to shore........kinda bitter sweet, because we were concerned about how close they were coming to the shark nets, but elated to be able to see them breach. Unfortunately, a baby did get caught in the shark net, but was freed by the great people at Sea World and was last seen swimming off with it's mum back to the depths It was just an awesome experience, so much so, I am definately going out to Whale watch next season! I've uploaded a few pics, with some more to come down the track...I want to get about and look at what you guys have been getting great shots of.
